NEWS: Zinger Black Burger at KFC

Starting March 22, KFC are launching a brand new version of the classic Zinger burger – the Zinger Black!

The brand new Zinger Burger features a spicy black dyed bun with chilli flakes, nigella seeds and black cracked pepper in addition to a classic Zinger chicken breast fillet, bacon, lettuce, tomato and sweet maple mustard sauce.

For those wondering, according to KFC, the black bun is made black with vegetable carbon – the same colouring used in several liquorices, jams and jellies.

The Zinger Black costs around $7.45 by itself, or $9.95 in a combo with a regular chips and drink. Exclusive to their KFC Xpress App, KFC are offering Buy One Get One Free Zinger Black Combos.

The burger is also available in the Zinger Black Box, with a regular drink, chips, 3 Wicked Wings and a Potato and Gravy for $11.95. However, prices do vary by store. It’s available everywhere across Australia except Tasmania – to locate your closest store, click here. It’s available for a limited time only – until April 18 – so get in quick to try it out!
